Generated over $800K in advertising business by selling significant national accounts including ABC Carpet,
Benjamin Moore, Boffi, B&B, Cassina, Ceramic Tiles of Italy, Design Within Reach, Dornbracht, Dyson, ELICA,
Emeco, Hansgrohe, Henrybuilt, Kohler, Poggenphl, Lutron, SICIS Tile, Steuben Glass, TOTO and USM.
Developed new revenue streams managing unique design events, such as building concept homes with
sponsorship money. These homes were used to promote advertisers, strengthen current advertiser relationships,
inspire new readers by launching events for new artists, creative people and industry leaders. Managed the building
of a museum quality gallery and creating exhibits and competitions to generate revenue.
THE ARCHITECT’S NEWSPAPER - New York, NY 2005 - 2007

Increased sales from $6K per issue to $35K - $50K per issue in first three months with paper. Produced revenue
and tripled ad pages by creating themed issues, special sections, designing detailed programs for clients and
establishing a presence in the design community by sponsoring tradeshows, lectures and creating roundtable
discussions which benefited both readers and advertisers.
Generated $500K in revenue in second year and $1M in third year of job, increasing sales by 200% and bringing in
Autodesk, Audi, Erco Lighting, Vector Works, Mechoshade, Selux Lighting, FSB USA, Oldcastle Glass, Pella and
Marvin Windows.
Organized many events including an event during Architecture Week for 300 people, along with Openhouse New
York, The New York Times, New York Waterways and Target. Raised money needed at an event at 7 World Trade
Center which was attended by 2000 people and involved Homeland Security. These events generated attention
and excitement for advertising prospects, current advertisers, subscribers and prospective subscribers.

Brought in Absolut, Bombay, BMW, Camper Shoes, Kenneth Cole, Ikea, Target, Prada, Tumi Luggage, FIT,
Samsung, SVA, Sharp, Sony, Toyota, Hewitt Packard, Lexmark, Xerox, and Issey Miyake as new clients.
Developed sales/marketing programs and special sections, including design contests and supplements to increase
sales opportunities. Oversaw all promotional pieces and coordinated design and PR efforts on everything that
reflected image of magazine.
Managed all outside agencies and vendors such as printers and promotional companies used for events.
