Waste Water facilities at all segements of Sabic and Tasnee.
Working on STC Fiber Optics Network for OSP, FTTH, Junction and Access network
projects. Using Network Engineering Tool (NE Tool) for supporting the field staff for
troubleshooting fiber optics issues.

Fiber optic cables. Planning & implementation of FTTH, OSP, access and junction
Networks. Troubleshooting, relocations, installation & MDT (Maintenance down Times)
on different Fiber Optic Network. Troubleshooting and support for the FTTH, and FTTB
from PON port up to the customer termination ONT.

tower. Installation of splitter terminal box (STB), terminal box (TB), optical network
terminal (ONT), optical distribution frame (ODF).
Carried out Trouble shouting from MSC to customer end by using different testing tool

 Senior Engineer Operations
Responsibilities:-
I. Sawan Gas Plant & Sawan Rigs (Total Nos of Rig 25 )
Description: Installation, configurations, commissioning and testing of RF SCPC
Earth Station Gas Rigs of M/s OMV’s (Austrian Company) 25 Rigs.
Establishment of data and voice Communication involve RF high frequency
wireless connection from Gas Sawan Rig (05), Sawan (10) and Duljan sites to their
head office there at Islamabad via SCPC Link. Installation involve civil work for
construction of base, installation of 3.0 M antenna, Low Noise Amplifier, OMT,
SPT, Down converter, Upconverters and commissioning part consist of
configuration of RF Agilis ASM 4800 modems. The assignment was being
conducted regularly with interval of two months
II. BHPBILLITION (Oil & Gas sector):
Description: Rectification of faults in their 128kpbs, voice and data satellite RF
communication link there at Zamzama Gas plant, Dadu, which is connected to head
office in city of Islamabad.
III. T.V One (Teleport)
Description: Commissioning and testing of Satellite Encoder, Encoder’s Redundant
Switches, 200 Watts Solid State Power Amplifier and maintenance of RF 6GHZ
link. Propagation of Distribution Amplifier’s 0.75 V Video Signal to transponder
via Encoder & Encoder Switches.
IV. PAKTEL (Mobile Phone Operator)
Description: Diagnoses of fault at their BTS sites. Operation comprises adjustment
of power in Comstream Paradise modem, attenuation, frequencies in SPT (Agilis) at

6. Karachi as well as Gwader BTS sites. Detection of fault with the help of spectrum
analyzer such as spike in carrier while transmitting signal.
 Commissioning of Radio (Wimen –II 24 db, 2.4GHZ). Antennas and
Transceiver unit with line of sight alignment to another Microwave Antenna
network system, with 512 Kbps baud rate.

 Installation of Power sections in Up converters during time of no power.
V. PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES (PIA)
Description: Installation and commissioning of Earth Station at Karachi Airport.
Configured as a main HUB for Quetta and Faisalabad Airports. ASM 4800 and
COMTECH EF 600 satellite modems with Ring Focus 3.0 M Antenna were
commissioned in order to connect with remote earth station with both cities via
Satellite.

Description: preparation of Civil work (Earth Station Base for 3.7 meter
Anntena).Installation & Commissioning of their link from Lahore, Islamabad to
Karachi using satellite (Paksat).
VII. PRIME BANK:
Description:Installation, commissioning & testing of Mesh Satellite Network at
Clifton Branch ,Zamzama Karachi linked and configured with Lahore and
Islamabad Branch via Satellite (AP-STAR-2R). 3.7m Antenna powered by 20
Watts Agilis SPT with pair of Comtech CDM 5700 modem. Civil Work Comprises
construction of base and prior construction analysis also included in project

Description: Installation, commissioning & testing of DVB-S2, remote satellite
link to connect it with other branches for exchanging the data and internet traffic.
1.2M Ku Band Antenna, BUC and Access Broad Band Terminal (Efficient
Channel Coding Inc, USA) were used.
