Most respondents preferred narrative-based videos over dance-based videos. The majority were familiar with the song being used for a new music video project. Opinions on the original video for that song were average. Three-quarters felt the original video could be improved, which motivated the group to try and make an improved video.

have listened to. The results show me that the majority of people answered ‘often’ to this question which
was interesting as I now know that searching for a music video after listening to a song is a popular option
for many people.
3. The purpose of this question was to see what opinions were on dance based music videos or
narrative based music videos. From the results I can see that the majority of people (81%)
preferred narrative based music videos. This works well for my music video product as we are
going with a narrative video.
4. This question was asked to see if people have heard of the song which are using for our music video.
The majority of the answer was ‘yes’. This highlights that many people know the song we are using,
therefore, we hope our product will be popular due to the popular song choice.
5. This question identifies who has viewed the music video for our chosen song and
what there opinions are on it. The highest answer was ‘okay’ this suggests to us that
people rate this video good but not excellent. This makes me think about how we
could make our product to ensure everything thinks it is at a good standard.
6. This question lets us see how many people feel that the original music video for this song
could be improved. This information is useful to us as a group as we can see that 75%
percent of people feel that the video could be improved, therefore, we want to try and
achieve this through our music video for this song.
