Managed a Team of Strategic Business Account Managers that are responsible for the alignment
of policies, procedures and solutions that support Canon’s relationship with some of their largest US and
global customers. The Strategic Business Account Manager must build and manage teams that consist of
representatives from the three business units of Canon Solutions America (CSA). My role was to assist
in coaching, counseling and directing the overall strategy with the Strategic Account Manager for each
Strategic Account. It is very important that I interacting with clients of all levels and industry
backgrounds, from the CEO to administrative support staff. I must be prepared to ensure that we were
in sync with executive management objectives.

The Strategic Business Manager's Account objectives:
o Establish and manage a list of defined clients
o Secure relationship with key decision makers in each accounts
o Act as the single point of contact for CSA solutions and services for the client
o Engage with the client to build solutions that complements the clients short and long-term
objectives
o Generate awareness of potential risks, accountability and rewards.
o Apprise the clients Sr. Management, steering Committee and key players about the delivery
status and implications of solution
o Consistently resolve any Issues and or concerns
o Act as trusted advisor to the client

Strategic Business Managers Corporate Objectives:
o Exceed revenue targets year over year with each Strategic Account
o New Business development
o Implementation of Key Solutions and Services
o Responsible for annual expense targets
