Manage the civil activities for the Frontier Windfarm in Blackwell, OK.
Responsible for the safety, quality and production as well as planning and
scheduling work activities with other trades to meet milestones. Manage the civil
activities so we stay within the budget and track areas that over run estimated
costs. Develop foreman and build crews to bolster the company’s talent at the
operator and laborer positions.

2015 Site Manager
Managed onsite construction activities in northern Maine for a 56.1 MW
windfarm. Duties included cost to complete reports, implementing safety program,
daily reports, budget review and reporting, quality control and production
tracking.
Blattner Energy, Inc., Avon, Minnesota
2014-2015 Superintendent-Grading
Manage and train civil crews from the start up of the project through the
reclamation. Responsible for Safety, quality, and production of the project. Work
closely with owner site management team to establish a good relationship, this is a
new owner that Blattner has not done work for in the past. Responsible for overall
civil budget, works closely with other trade superintendents to coordinate project
activities to keep project on schedule. Developed quality assurance and quality
forms to adhere to civil engineer requirements. Works with landowners to fulfill
requirements that are in the contract and easement documents that the landowners
had agreed to.
2013-2014 Blattner Site Superintendent
Oversee the construction of wind farm in Ontario, Canada were I am responsible
for developing a new site team for a company we have created for our work in
Canada. Responsible for installing company best practices procedures, QA/QC

program, risk management policy and procedure, production tracking, technical
knowledge of constructing roads, foundations, substation, underground collection
line and environmental compliance. Work with project and site manager to help
the site team work together to accomplish tight deadlines and stay within budget. I
have developed a strong positive relationship with land owners that were hesitant
to allow wind farm construction in their community and as the project is winding
down they see the positive impact in the community and that their land is still as
productive as before construction began.
2011 - 2013 Superintendent - Grading
Support and train project teams and Grading Superintendents during the start-up
and construction phases of the project. Support the company in scheduling,
coordinating and hiring grading resources for all projects. Support and ensure all
safe work methods and processes are being used on the projects. Follow up with
QA/QC engineer that all the documents and testing requirements are in place to
avoid noncompliance or testing issues that can effect quality and rework that
would incur extra costs. Provide project manager with a monthly cost to complete
report to project profit and loss for the project codes. Provide estimates and data
backup for change orders to the client. Review daily and weekly cost reports to
trade superintendents to monitor costs for each trade.
2009 - 2011 Assistant Grading Superintendent
Focuses on the completion of roads to access the wind turbines through the
following tasks: manages storm water plans and implement accordingly;
contacts land owners to establish an extensive working relationship; discovers
endangered species (plants or animals) in the area; partners with Installation
Superintendent by clearing areas for the assembly of rotors, and assists when
delivery trucks become immovable; work closely with concrete supervision
relating to excavation of foundations. i.e.: depth of foundation excavation, width
of foundation excavation; completes final grading of entire site; and responsible for
punch list development and final completion. Work closely with turbine
manufacturer trucking to insure the roads, approaches and turning radius are
adequate for over-size loads. Ability to read and understand prints and contract
documents.

2007 - 2008 Assistant Structures Superintendent
Focuses on the completion of concrete foundations for wind turbines and
their associated substations through the following tasks: works closely with
grading supervision relating to excavation of foundations; works closely
with subcontractors such as rebar and electrical to coordinate their scope
of work into the foundations; works closely with Ready Mix Plant to
schedule materials and trucks as needed; schedules delivery of materials
(rebar, anchor rods, template and embed rings); works closely with
suppliers for timely delivery with no delays; schedules all foundation work
to be completed on time and within budget; and communicates with
inspectors to deliver a quality product to the owners.
2006 - 2007 Assistant Project Superintendent
On-site supervision of forepersons, iron workers, carpenters, equipment
operators, and laborers to ensure a safe, productive quality job is attained
and costs are controlled in the construction field operations. Assists in
scheduling equipment and subcontractors to effectively utilize all resources.
Assists with specifications and contract requirements. Reviews contracts,
plans, and manuals. Coordinate schedule and oversee project production
for civil, assembly, foundation, underground collection, substation,
transmission line, and switch yard. Manage site safety coordinators to
ensure company safety policies and procedures are being followed to be in
compliance with current OSHA regulations.
2005 - 2006 Field/Project Engineer
Purchasing, preparing and processing invoices, assist in billing, coordinate on-site
inspections, safety officer, maintain computer equipment, provide necessary
communication with employees and vendors. Tracked and reported daily
production to run the daily cost reports. Generated and paid purchase orders for
project vendors. Performed duties of the site superintendent in their absence.
2004 - 2005 Carpenter
Basic carpentry skills (i.e. plan reading, linear dimensions and elevations, working
knowledge of mathematics, and proper tool usage). Carpenter will be responsible for the
following; use and/or installation of provided safety equipment (i.e. safety harnesses, static
lines, etc.), and accuracy of layout for form placement. Working knowledge of "crane hand
signals" is essential. These skills will be used in the performance of the following tasks:
assembly and/or construction of various concrete forms, pile driving, concrete and anchor
bolt placement.

Worked for Copp Construction building county bridges through out Montana. The
composite crew shared responsibilities, including driving pile, bridge demolition, setting
precast bridge beams, tying rebar, pouring concrete bridge deck, and civil dirt work.

Entered and completed the journeyman carpenter apprentaship program with Martel
Construction located in Bozeman, Montana. During the five years with company I spent
18 months constructing and operating a garnet processing mine in Dillion, MT. Develop
skills in lattice boom crane operation, shooting grades, driving piling, and pouring large
retaining walls.
