Responsibilities
Area site supervisor
Main duties to oversee void repairs and day to day R/M operations plus planned
maintenance for social housing for the ASRA housing group Leicester and Melton Borough
Council. Delicate works to sub contractors carry out site surveys produce work sheets for
works required for each void, carry out regular site visits, and carry out all health and safety
site inductions, site audits with regular equipment inspections. Maintain a good standard of
works being carried out with variations that may be required to changes to specific works.
Carry out handovers to the client meet site managers on site to discuss any issues or
problems that may need to be addressed in relation to health and safety and further major
works. Check that all asbestos surveys have been completed and carried for each void, site
packs to have all the correct information and on site before works commence quality
inspection sheets are to be completed by operative’s before completion, checked by site
manger before handover all electrical and gas certification have been completed and
checked before handed over to the client . Have weekly meeting with client to discuss work
in progress discuss changes that we as the contractor need to be advised on new processes
designs changes to (kitchens bathroom specifications) extension of time requirements for
major works . Weekly meetings with the voids team at G-Purchase for both contracts staffing
requirements, progress reports, issues that need to be followed up budgets and expenditure
reports plus KPI updates and other business requirements for the Melton Borough Council
contract. Carry out all health & safety training to include tool box talk’s site audits. Monthly
one to one performance meetings with direct employee’s and sub-contractors.
Regular quarterly meeting with Tefec Melton Borough Council’s residents committee for
social housing standards and complaints. Regular void handovers with Tefec members
discuss any quality issues while on site they may have or improvements they would like to
see and implement.

Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities: For EWI installations Private and Local council’s housing departments
• To ensure that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is
maintained for each contract, via site visits, assessing contract implementation with due
regard to construction standards and health and safety legislation and, if appropriate, to
instruct contractors to cease operations.
• To act on behalf of the client ( City Council) by undertaking quality audits on the project
being delivered. This will involve site visits, checking service work against the schedule and
contractors’ invoices, liaising with the client and giving feedback on budget, information and

• To ensure that current knowledge of construction legislation, standards, methods of

and deliver a safe, cost effective and high quality service to the drinking water

Clerk of Works
Ener-G Natural power a leading developing company in renewable energy in the UK and
across the world. In mechanical and electrical engineering for landfill gas, mines gas,
combined heat and power generation for large companies with projects over one million
pound projects under CDM health and safety compliance and project management.
My company role was CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) Engineer, in the construction
of generating sites responsible for delivering the project on time and in budget to design and
build specifications with commissioning of plant and all electrical installations to pre start and
handover.
Responsible for all health and safety on site and the supervision of all contractors all site
inspections audits and the planning of contractors work to comply with the scope of works.
This role required the interaction with different departments within the Group on various
projects, involving management of project budgets, taking measurements and samples to
ensure works meet specifications and quality standards, awareness of environmental
protection and emergency readiness.
Whilst being with Natural power I took charge of the supervision of 20 construction projects
building renewable energy generation systems fuelled by landfill gas and also of landfill gas
field extensions providing methane gas for fuelling renewable energy generation.
1990 - 2003 Tarmac Topmix Concrete Division
Transport and Production Supervisor
With Tarmac Topmix I undertook many roles starting as a plant supervisor batching
concrete to customer’s requirements taking orders, scheduling works out to a daily
planner. Then moved into other roles within the company became a relief plant
supervisor covering all the East Midlands Yorkshire and Southern counties,taking on
a more productive role in concrete and the mortar and screed production setting up
central shipping offices to increase production in areas lacking productivity.
Moved to a transport and production coordinator role office based dealing with all transport
responsibility’s making sure all transport legislation was compiled to deal with all MOTs all
service records on all company trucks and owner drivers all movements of trucks to
other sites around the midlands area and central areas moving trucks in to other
areas when required.
I have a full uk CPC in transport management, I also have vast experience in work
shipping taking on orders to customer requirements, setting up the transport
shipping office and trained people to fulfil the role. I have vast experience in
delivering training courses and identifying further training requirements with all
health and safety matters.

Hobbies and Interests
I am passionate about working with the local community and schools, I own and run Ripley
School of Boxing Club for all ages in my home town of Ripley which I set up three years ago
we have had great success since opening the club with students fulfilling their ambition’s to
succeed in the sport. I regularly put the club progress in the local paper and do local radio
interview’s I myself have now taken on further roles within Boxing England.
I enjoy travel looking at different cultures exploring new countries overseas I .like good DIY
projects to complete and challenge. I have a passion for old cars one I have just completed
as a project.

  • 4. 2003 - 2012 Ener-G Natural Powers Group Clerk of Works Ener-G Natural power a leading developing company in renewable energy in the UK and across the world. In mechanical and electrical engineering for landfill gas, mines gas, combined heat and power generation for large companies with projects over one million pound projects under CDM health and safety compliance and project management. My company role was CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) Engineer, in the construction of generating sites responsible for delivering the project on time and in budget to design and build specifications with commissioning of plant and all electrical installations to pre start and handover. Responsible for all health and safety on site and the supervision of all contractors all site inspections audits and the planning of contractors work to comply with the scope of works. This role required the interaction with different departments within the Group on various projects, involving management of project budgets, taking measurements and samples to ensure works meet specifications and quality standards, awareness of environmental protection and emergency readiness. Whilst being with Natural power I took charge of the supervision of 20 construction projects building renewable energy generation systems fuelled by landfill gas and also of landfill gas field extensions providing methane gas for fuelling renewable energy generation. 1990 - 2003 Tarmac Topmix Concrete Division Transport and Production Supervisor With Tarmac Topmix I undertook many roles starting as a plant supervisor batching concrete to customer’s requirements taking orders, scheduling works out to a daily planner. Then moved into other roles within the company became a relief plant supervisor covering all the East Midlands Yorkshire and Southern counties,taking on a more productive role in concrete and the mortar and screed production setting up central shipping offices to increase production in areas lacking productivity. Moved to a transport and production coordinator role office based dealing with all transport responsibility’s making sure all transport legislation was compiled to deal with all MOTs all service records on all company trucks and owner drivers all movements of trucks to other sites around the midlands area and central areas moving trucks in to other areas when required.
