2. The Basic working procedure of a computer
The most basic way of thinking of a computer is as an Input/Output machine. That's a pretty
basic idea that computers take information from external sources like:
keyboard
Mouse
sensors or
the internet
And then store it, process it, and return the result (Output) of that process. The CPU interacts
closely with primary storage, or main memory, referring to it for both instructions and data.
3. The parts of computer
Every computer is composed of two basic components:
Hardware : That includes the Physical features, which are every part that you can
either see or touch, for example: monitor, case, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
Software : The part which activates the physical components called software
4. A computer device is made up of various elements which help in its effective functioning
and processing. There are five basic components of the computer which help in making this
processing of data easier and convenient.
By definition, components of a computer system are the primary elements which make the
functioning of an electronic device smooth and faster. There are five basic components
which include:
Input Unit
Output Unit
Memory Unit
Control Unit
Arithmetical and Logical Unit.
5. The another basic parts of computers are :
A Motherboard : All components of a computer communicate through a circuit board
called the motherboard. This is where input/output devices such as a keyboard, mouse,
and speakers get plugged in.
CPU : Its called the central processing unit. The CPU is often called the "brain" of a
computer , and it has direct connection to the motherboard, and communication with
all of the computer’s other components. Whenever we write a line of code
(in Python, Java, C++, or any other programming language), it's broken
down into assembly language—which is a language that the processor can understand.
It fetches, decodes, and executes these instructions. And that’s where the CPU comes
in—all the processes a computer handles are taken care of by the CPU.
6. GPU : GPU means Graphics Processing Unit that is also known as a video card.
RAM : The full meaning of RAM is Random Access Memory that is also known
as volatile.
Storage: This is known as Solid State Drive (SSD) or Hard Disk Drive (HDD) .
All computers need somewhere to store their data. Modern computers either
use a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or Solid State Drive (SSD).
