• All throughout the clip the lighting in the
house is very dim as well as it being night
outside. By everything being dark is shows
to the audience that something out of the
ordinary is going to happen as dark
lighting is often associated with
Supernatural films and Horror films

• In the very beginning of the opening, as the
women is walking through her house there is
a short clip of tense music playing
• As the music builds up is creates a tense
atmosphere for the audience as well as makes
them wonder what is going to happen next, so
they will continue watching.
4. Enigma code
• Throughout the opening of the clip, there are
many questions left unanswered. This questions
will make the audience want to continue
watching to find the answers to these questions.
• As well as this, tense music is played throughout
the clip, this shows the audience that something
bad or unusual is going to happen, so they will be

are used. These shots are used most often as
they show are close up enough to show the
persons reaction, but it also includes part of
the background. This is helpful in this clip as it

a women being attacked by an unknown
demon and she has an incounter with it in her
