1. ‘Where Did It All Go Wrong’
(Tabloid Chat Show)

2. Concept
• I plan to produce a studio production named ‘Where Did It All Go Wrong’
that follows the format of a tabloid chat show, a tabloid chat show is a show
like Jeremy Kyle, Jerry Springer etc.
• In brief, the main concept behind the show is I want to have two parties of
guests on the show who have an issue they want to resolve with one another.
The host will firstly hear out the story from both sides of the problem and will
then mediate with both the involved parties, trying to help them reach a
solution

3. Style
• The show will be rather informal so that there can be both a serious and
humorous side to the program.
• However, the host will be formal and dress smartly so that he/she obviously
stands out.
• The set will be basic but effective, there will be sofas on an open stage for
both parties of guests.

4. Audience
• Ideally the show will be broadcasted in the late afternoon/early evening.
• The target audience for the show consists of a broad audience, I believe the
show will be suitable and interest people from 16 upwards of any gender,
social class etc.
• There will also be a live audience in the studio that the host will often use for
opinions etc.
