2. Scene 1
• In the first scene the audience will see a wide
shot of the killer swinging on a swing back and
forth while the pace of the swinging increases.
• In the second scene, there is a pan, down the
back of the killer revealing the the clowns
mask. This continues on, but we then we also
get a close up of the mask while the camera
pans down.
3. Scene 2
• In the third scene there is a quick close up of
the victim laying down dead in a pool of blood.
• And there is also a quick transition back to the
baseball bat near the swing set which denotes
that is what killed the victim.
• We then get another pan along half of the
victims body from the waist up where we see
his head in a pool of blood, the pan carries on
showing the splatter on the wall of the shower
room.
• Another close up is used to show the blood on
the victims hand along with a short pan
following the hands dragging in the blood
4. Scene 3
• In scene four the audience sees dramatic close ups of the the
blood being washed away, having a steamy effect coming
from the water and glimmers and reflections from the light
hitting the water and possibly some details like a bubble
popping.
Scene 4
• The audience then sees the clown gone from the swing
leaving the swing swinging by itself as if to connote that the
clown has gone to kill again and then the title of the opening
sequence ‘PERCEPTION’ appears in the middle of the scene.
5. Scene 5
• Lastly, the audience gets a surprise as the clowns face wearing
the mask appears suddenly as and extreme close up to create a
dramatic ending, the screen then goes black and in the
background the audience is able to hear creepy whispers to
connote help cries from the victims the clown has killed.
6. Music and Sounds
Music –
• Thrashing around – purple planet music
• Trick or Treat – purple planet music
• Unseen horrors – Royalty free music
Sound –
• Creepy whispers – We will get it from YouTube and converted into Mp3.
• Apart from having whispers at the end we don’t think that we should have
any other sounds or speech as we think this then enhances the eeriness
and build up the tension of the audience up until the end where they will
here some form of speech which will be the whispers.
7. We also decided that for our title we would have creepy medieval
looking curly font that was the color of red, this was so that we could
achieve a conventional element of the horror/thriller genre as we
know that red is associated with danger, violence and evil and so is
horror/thriller.
These are some of the choices we thought of:
However we decided that we liked this font the best as it gave a
more rustic medieval look to it.
