Some questions about their background knowledge about the topic. (10 minutes)
What do you do in your free time?
Do you play any sport?
Which is your favorite sport?
Do you think practicing sports is healthy for you?
Through the use of flashcards there will be introduced some images of different sports.
Children will be asked which is the sport represented on the flashcard? (15 minutes)
Do you know which sport is this? Yes/no
Do you know any famous person who plays this sport?
Children will be asked to complete the spelling of the name of some sports. In order to
give children an example, the teacher will show them a picture and will write the name of
the sport on the board. (5 minutes)

Game: charades. A student will imitate the sport represented on the flashcard while the
rest of the class has to guess the answer. (10 minutes)
