1. Dates for Forestry!
Competition will be October 8thth. In Ocala Silver Springs State Park. I will bring four students with me. I
can bring up to two teams to compete. If I have 8 hardworking individuals I will bring them, but I need
help with transportation. If your parents have a flexible job or life schedule that they can take days off
for, please get a volunteer application from me!
Practices:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Every MWF! After School until 4:00pm
Except! September 28th
Tentative one Saturday (We will discuss)
Mondays: Intro days to a topic
Wednesdays Review quiz, Application days. General knowledge
Friday practice tests like the competition, practice will end afterwards.
Final Cut: Wednesday the September 25th
What to expect: You must come to practice, and if you miss one, you must schedule a make up.
Students who are active in sports are encouraged to show up, get information… do it for homework
Print outs: Don’t lose it! bring it to every practice!
How the contest is won. General knowledge, general knowledge, ID, and Knowing your Scientific
names. Help me make general knowledge tests when you have a free moment.
How to ensure you are on the team: STUDY! Be a team member, be active, put forth effort, ask
questions for interpretations.
