Glade Springs Resort - Daniels, WV
Led the entire Sales and Marketing efforts for this boutique 66 room 5000 acre
growing resort for Classic Resorts out of Maui Hawaii. Responsible for all direct
sales efforts, marketing and promotions, convention service and set up as well
as front office operations. Increased awareness in the region through
consistent and constant promotional campaigns while growing occupancy by
over 40% and establishing the resort as a unique resort destination in southern
West Virginia. Established complete golfing, equestrian and rafting packages
campaign to build occupancy and partnered with rafting companies to branch
and expand the resorts business base. Developed partnership with
Winterplace ski resort to grow off season business.

Promoted to head up the Convention Service department for the resort. Led a
team of 4 in all aspects of servicing the needs of all convention meetings
including promotions, reservations, setups, catering, recreation, transportation,
audio visual, billing, etc. Nominated by Successful Meetings magazine as
candidate for the Convention Service Manager of the year. Recieved the
CMP designation and at the time was only the third hotelier in the country to
hold this prestigious designation.
