Involved with technology strategy planning, platform upgrades (Oracle 10g), new
deployment strategies (SCM), migration of existing client transmissions from UNIX
platform (Crontab) to Autosys.

Achieved savings of $7MM by in-sourcing statement generation and mailing.
Produced and mailed 2.1 statements quarterly within ten day window using
ExStream software (after evaluating competing products and platforms before
selecting ExStream).
Was senior technical person on the national RIT/USA Today Quality Award
winning team that also received the Dalbar Award for the ML 401(k) Millennium
statement.
o Trading / Reconciliation Systems
Involved with three acquisitions and integration of staff and technology platforms.
Managed staff of 80+ in multiple locations including San Francisco and Atlanta.
Designed and built the mutual funds trading system supporting all 401(k) trading
accounts and their daily reconciliation – calculated daily NAV and weighted price
averages for retirement clients.
Designed and implemented Retirement Group’s Equity Trading platform including
automated true-up trading to keep plans reconciled with Trust accounts and
related Trust statements.
o Technology Strategy / Data Strategy
Authored technology strategy document for RGT outlining direction for the three
and five year planning.
Represented the Retirement Group in firm-wide data strategy effort and migration
to firm-wide hub.
Implemented new standards as part of firm-wide initiatives; developed disaster
recovery / contingency plans.
