Through lookingthrough uktribes,I have been ableto pick out which audiencecategory mostly suits my
Electronic Dance Music genre. Due to my audienceresearch,I believe the alternativetribe mostly suits the
electronic music genre with a slightcombination of the mainstreamtribe also.The reason or this is because
the description of the alternativetribes states that people have a passi on for music,peoplewant to set
themselves apartfrom everyone elsewhich this genre does because itisn’t your typical persons favourite
music genre. It states that people have an appreciation for livemusic which the people that likethis genre of
music do becausethey realisehow good it is to go to an EDM festival and that the atmosphere is incredible.A
sub category called the “Metallers” further supports the idea that the EDM music genre suits these people
because itsays thatthe people are all abouthead bangingwhich most people do when listeningto EDM music,
it says they liketo have a drink which most people that listen to this do because they drink a lot at the festivals
that EDM music put on. However, I feel the EDM music category also suits themainstreamaudienceas well
slightly as a subcategory called “Chavers”states that people actually really likeEDM music and itmentions
festivals which tis music genreproduces good ones. Therefore I feel the alternativetribemixed with abitof the
mainstreamtribe is the audience that suitthe Electronic Dance Music genre the most and I will need to
identify the interests of these people to be ableto adapttheir needs for my magazine.
