1. PROJECT DIARY WEEK 1
What happened
For this week of production of my FMP I began work and context and theory in which I
looked at review youtubers to see the context on how they make their videos by looking at
their reviews and see what their videos contain such as mood and style of their reviews and
then write down what I observed the writing down common themes I found in each video
and which I would use in my FMP, then moving onto theory in which I chose criticismin
which I did and explanation of what criticismis with a quote from a book and criticism, then
moving onto type of criticism, then type of media criticismand why I am doing my project
the way I am planning.
How I felt
at the time when I was given this task, I was worried at first but took a step back then
started in strides and was able to get the document done on time.
Evaluation
What was good about this experience was I was able to get a great understanding of how
reviewer youtuber present themselves and their video which will help me when I am making
my review series and how I am going to make it, however a bad experience I had was trying
to find the right book to quote from for the theory of criticism.
Analysis
What I can make of this situation is that it is to help us get the basic foundation of our FMP
by having us look at existing creators which relate to our project and understanding how
they do their craft, so we make take aspect of that and create our own way of doing our
craft.
Conclusion
However, I could have done more on the document as I could have looked at some more
reviews and understand how they do their reviews as the more example you have to draw
from the more unique your product will be.
Action plan
If this was to happen again, I would get more example for the contextual segment of the
document, so I have more example to draw from and understand to help create a more
unique and original product.
