Senior Procurement Category Manager
• Managed total spend of over $100MM for multiple consumable categories (international and domestic)
such as uniforms, cleaning supplies, MRO, auto fleet, equipment, leasing, office, and numerous more.
• Planned, executed, negotiated RFI’s/RFP’s for multiple product categories including prebates, rebates,
KPI’s, payment terms, and cost savings.
• Manages day to day operations of the procurement department and multiple employees for designated
categories.
• Drafted and reviewed supplier contracts with assistance of the Legal Department.
• Drafted and implemented project plans of new procurement programs across multiple categories.
• Incurred $3MM in savings by implementing P&P’s and cost savings measures as the fleet manager of over

Director of Procurement and Inventory Control
• Designed, implemented, and administered an ISO9001/TL9000 compliant end-to-end system to manage
$100MM in annual purchases that produced a ‘flawless’ comment during the 2013 ISO audit.
• Streamlined/ automated procurement processes by implementing automated credit card services, E-
Procurement, and automated AR/AP transactions.
• Increased cash flow by increasing net terms of suppliers.
• Established policies and procedures and renegotiated contracts in order to litigate risk and reduce cost.
• Directed the activities of more than two hundred workers in the Procurement, Inventory, and Warehouse
Departments in the United States and Mexico supporting four production facilities, two cross dock

accuracy, supplier relations, and creating departmental SOPs.

revenue, and improved P&L profit contribution by $1.1MM annually.
• Reduced packaging COGS by $0.04 per case generating an annual savings of $900K by re-engineering
packaging configuration and renegotiating purchase prices.

• Led Domestic and international sales and business development initiatives for OpTech and its divisions
including Recycling, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, and Foreign

• Increased revenue by $5MM (14% of company revenue) in the Recycling, Warehousing, Transportation,
and Foreign Trade Zone Divisions.
• Total oversight of the Logistix Recycling United States and Mexico start-up and operations with over 150

Corporate Inventory Manager/Supply Chain Analyst
• Provided analysis and modeling to support the corporate supply chain, including five food production
facilities producing over 30MM cases per year in the United States and two facilities in England.
• Initiated productivity and performance management programs to reduce costs in operations corporate wide
through establishing key performance indicators and lean manufacturing principals.
• Operations project manager responsible for implementing a corporate-wide WMS.
• Authored corporate-wide supply chain policy and procedures including procurement, warehousing, and
transportation.

and warehousing.
• Managed $10MM worth of inventory (with over 300 line items, over 800 raw materials, an average on
hand balance of 400,000 units turning every 14 days) within a fast paced manufacturing/warehousing
MRPII environment.
• Managed capital expenditures and budget of $450K coming in under budget by $31K.
• Lowered labor costs by $40,000 annually using lean methodologies such as implementing corporate-wide
Kanbans and 5S methodologies.
• Decreased material usage variance losses from $360K to a gain of over $200K ($560K net improvement)
through scrap reduction, bill of material error correction, obsolescence prevention, and implementation of
policies and procedures to streamline the physical inventory count process.
• Generated savings of over $100K and improved quality of material by streamlining material flows through
development of supplier relationships.
