3. Since its inception in 1984, SCEF has made
it its mission to support the educational,
artistic, scientific, and moral endeavors of
its students and the Salpointe community.
The foundation has grown from 97
members to 750. It has procured funding
for campus-wide Wi-Fi, STEM equipment
and programming, theater upgrades, a
digital photographylab, and building the
multipurpose space Foundation Hall.

4. SCEF raises funding in two ways, the first being
through membership. Donors who give $1,000 to the
endowment become Foundation members. The
second way it raises funds is through its Annual
Gala. In 2023, the SCEF theme was the 80s Prom
