Procurement. Construction and commissioning team.
o Participate in Engineering review meeting and provide support for inter-discipline engineering
activities for Welding Engineering activities. And also Participation in kick off meeting, Technical
meeting and project progressive meeting with contractor and vendors.
o Focal point for resolving technical (metallurgical) queries.
o Sound knowledge in Welding Engineering using different welding techniques according to
international codes & standards used in oil & gas industry.
o Familiar with critical factors affecting different types of welding & testing related problems
including piping for sweet & sour in oil & gas service.

Welding & NDT
o Participation in Vendor pre-qualification survey for Critical Welding applications.
o Review and approval of Welding documents (WPS/PQR/WPQ).
o Participate in the Review of Contractor and Vendor NDE & Testing procedures.
o Resolves all Welding related technical queries from contractors.
o Vendor or site visit for critical construction stage involving welding.

o Knowledge in post welds heat treatment (PWHT) of different types of metals and alloys.
o Knowledge about limitations of each welding technique, types of defects commonly associated
