JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Inspection of receiving materials for structural, Piping, Pipeline & Tanks, pre weld
requirements, welding parameters, consumables, preparation of joint and final weld
inspection, NDT, PWHT, requirements, trace abilities as per the project specification.
Dailly inspection activites of Fitup & Visual inspection. Witnessing of PWHT,NDT ,PMI,
Ferrite test,Hydro test,Hardness test as required.
Following the ITP requirements, follow the stage wise inspection of ITP and coordinate
with client/owner/Pmc or Tpi for stagewise inspection.
As per project specification, Technical specification ,procedures ,codes & standards to
follow all inspection activities and clear the RFI or IN Incpsection.
Review and issue of discrepancy reports from activity connected to QA/QC to improve
the quality and requirement of deviation or difference between the engineering
documents.
Conducting welder performance & procedure qualification as per project & code
requirements.
Painting Inspection for the systems as per the project specification.
Co-ordinates with the direct supervisor and client /third party inspectors to ensure that all
inspections.
Monitoring all QC activities in GC- shutdown activities
Exposure in Shut-down activities like Tie–in welding
