• Study contract & specification to evaluate the level of quality control for
project to meet customer’s expectation/requirements comprehensively.
• Ensure that Procedures, Method Statements and QIP’s are followed at
site.
• Ensure that all relevant codes, specifications and drawings are applied
at Project and only current documents are in use.
• Carrying out daily Inspections of CS, SS, LA, MONEL, NACE and
Inconal piping fabrication & erection works as per ITP.
• Check MTC’s of all welding consumables, gases, flux, wires meet the
code/specification requirement and are in good condition prior to use.
Also responsible to control the proper storage, handling, baking and
issuance of consumables to welder at site.
• Monitor that all welding parameters are within the specified limits of
WPS during the welding operations & carry out visual inspection of the
completed welds.
• Ensure that all welding machines are calibrated as per frequency and
periodically inspected for any discrepancy and maintain log.
• Responsible for the marking and rectification of all the weld repairs.
• Carry out line walk down & ensure piping systems are installed
according to relevant P&ID’s & Isometrics.
• Preparation & verification of punch list.
• Witness pressure testing as applicable.
• Compile quality records and prepare QC dossiers for final handover to
client.
