RESPONSIBILITY
As the “Instrument Fitter” I have been reporting to the Electrical &
Instrument Site Engineer and I am responsible for the Area of the concerned site
activities.

2. WORK EXECUTED / HANDLED
 Install industrial instruments and equipment such as control panels,
junction boxes, sensors, transmitters, controllers, indicators and analysers.
 Install / Fabricate / modify cable tray as necessary.
 Install instruments stands, instrument air headers.
 Mounts and installs control panels, instruments and associated control /
sensing devices.
 Measures , cuts, assemble cable tray and cable tray support systems.
 Observes function of installed equipment and system to detect hazards and
need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repair or replace faulty
tubing, valves, instruments and other devices.
 Reads and comprehences drawings, specifications and procedures.
 Able to perform multi line panel break out and configure group tubing
runs.
 Responsible for installing, servicing and repairing of pneumatic and
hydraulic equipment and controls.
 Runs groups tubing to equipment and control panels.
 Consistently completing work to meet customer specification in a neat,
timely and accurate manner by performing the duties.
 According to the standard drawings fix up the extansions.
 Do the light fittings assembly and pole errection works.
 And also cable pulling also a part of work have to pullout in the proper way
and to do the cable dressing not due to any cable damage.
 Capabilities measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install tubing
and piping.
