communication
Sender/Source/Encoder :Source is a person or
event which provides verbal or non verbal cues to
which some one can respond
Message/Signals :message is the stimulus,
transmitted by the sender
Medium/Channel: Any media through which
communication is achieved can be termed as
communication media
Receiver /Decoder:The person who receives the
message/interprets the message.

i. Speaking-Listening:Eg:Listening to the radio
programme
ii. Visualising-Observing:Eg:Motion
film,Television,Drama
iii. Writing-Reading:Eg:Library books,Journals,
iv. Doing-Learning:This communication possible

Ideation by the sender: By the sender who must
create an idea or choose a fact to communicate.
Encoding: The sender organises his idea into a
series of symbols which he feels will communicate
them to his target group the receiver(s)
Transmission:Transmission conforms the
medium selected in the proceeding steps.
10. Decoding:The message by which the receiver
makes meaning from the symbols encoded by the
sender.
Response:In the final stage the receiver acts or
responds to the message.
