The Piping/Mechanical Advisor is to provide assurance of Contractor's engineering, maintenance activities
on all piping systems as well as fixed mechanical equipment. The Piping/Mechanical Advisor is to
provide Operation support during Production.
Piping modifications associated with implementation on field
Together with planning, ensure that shutdown execution is handled in an efficient manner to reduce the
overall shutdown time.
Necessary QA/QC execution and follow-up within own discipline responsibility
Interface with Operations and project technical authorities related to execution of mechanical and piping
works.
Ensure that the Project HSSE Policy, no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment
is strictly observed;
Review and approval of contractor documentation, including method statement, fabrication drawings
and other technical documentation that may be relevant to a particular scope of work
Follow up of Contractors inspection and test plans (ITP)
Follow up of Contractors Audit plans
Be familiar with all aspects of project fixed mechanical equipment
Follow up of contractor’s physical work in field to secure quality standard according to project
requirements
Be familiar with all aspects of project procedures for cleanliness, joint integrity, leak testing, etc for
piping systems.
Ensure that preservation and maintenance on piping systems, static and rotating mechanical equipment
