2. TREATMENT OVERVIEW
■ In comparison to Dean’s previous tracks, “I’m Not Sorry”
has a much more aggressive vibe however, still has that
strong “carelessness” tone.
■ In order to represent both the artist and the song, I would
like to use darkness with red and blue lights/black and white
throughout the video
■ Strong use of silhouettes and locations with leading lines
■ Cutaways to create an exotic underground vibe such as
Siamese fighter fish, tropical plants, cards, money, smoke
etc.
4. LOCATIONS
■ China town is full of potential for
cutaway shots at both day and
night. As the main artist is East
Asian, to incorporate the culture
without travelling to Asia,
Chinatown is accessible and a
familiar location.
■ Furthermore, Leicester square is
also nearby and will provide many
opportunities for creating scenes
incorporate for the artist’s lip
syncing.
■ Another location is my friend’s
“man cave” (pictured).This suits
the R&B/soul genre of the song.
5. CUTAWAYS
■ In order to strengthen the exotic,
underground representation, I will
be using props such as;
– Siamese fighting fish- these are
known to be aggressive animals
as well as being pleasing to the
eye
– Tropical plants
– Orchids are a desired plant in
the east Asian culture.
