Erick Baker
We are to make a promo music video in order
to expand the artist fan number, increase
artist popularity, to promote further music
from the artist and to create a digipak for the
artist’s CD. On top of this no money will be
needed to be spent for this music video.
Eric Baker is a solo artist who is in the indie/pop
genre, his style of music is acoustic and most of
his songs only involve the acoustic guitar.

What makes him different from many other artists
is that all he needs to make music is his voice
and his guitar where others would use other
instruments , percussion and editing equipment.

His demographics would be people that like to
listen to folk/acoustic music so he would have a
  wide range of different audiences.
The video will feature two actors two locations. The actor are Chris
Thomson and the other is an actress, Katie Edmead. The video
will consist of jumping back forth from past to present , the past
shots will involve both Chris and Katie. The past shots will show
Chris singing on an empty stage with just a guitar, Katie will catch
him singing about her and sneak around the back of the stage
where Chris will turn around and see Katie watching him when
she then walks towards him and starts dancing. The next part we
will see Chris and Katie dancing together.
The present shot is a very simple one. All that
consists in this shot is Chris singing about
what happened in the past, we keep seeing
flash backs of the past constantly throughout
the video indicating that he is in love with this
girl that he dances with and sings about.
The setting of the video consists of two
locations. One is an empty stage at
Robert Clack upper school. We used
this location because not only was the
stage big but it had a back passage
where Katie was able to walk down and
end up on stage without being seen,
this worked well because when Chris
sees her it is obvious he wasn’t
expecting her because he stops singing
   and stops playing the guitar.

The second setting was the band room at
Robert Clack lower school, this was
used because it was secluded from
   everything making it Chris’s private
area where he can express his feelings.
The main emotions that will be throughout the
video is closure, disbelief and a feeling of true
love. The disbelief will be the past shot where
Katie has spotted Chris singing and she sneaks
round the back. Closure is shown when they
start dancing together. The camera work will
show closure by keeping both characters in shot
Disbelief face dancing.
      whilst Closure True love
There wont be many props that will be used.
They are the guitar and the chair. This was
the only props that we used.
