Job Role & Summary
The Medical Service Manager is responsible for planning, implementing , and
administering programs and services in a healthcare or medical facility .
He/ she will direct, supervise , and evaluate work activities of all healthcare
personnel and manage the changes that may occur in healthcare delivery systems
. This position needs an individual with excellent analytical , problem- solving ,
and decision - making skills to ensure that operations are done efficiently.
2. Responsibilities
-Prepares and administers the budget of various healthcare programs
- Manage changes and improvements of integrated healthcare delivery systems
-Works to improve efficiency and quality in delivering medical services
- Formulates and updates departmental plans and priorities to address any
operational or business challenges
- Develops organizational policies and establishes evaluative and operational
criteria for medical units
-Plans, implements , and administers programs and services in a healthcare and
medical facility
- Inspects facilities for emergency readiness and their compliance with both
sanitation and safety regulations
-Reviews and analyzes data to aid in planning and risk management

-Ability to cope with pressure and ongoing changes in medical technology as well
as that of medical treatments practices , and policies

3. Qualifications
-A bachelor's degree in health administration or any related programs
-Certifications from the Professional Association of HealthCare Office
Management ( PAHCOM) and American College of HealthCare Administrators (
ACHCA) is an advantage
-At least five years of working experience in administrative and healthcare
occupations
