18. CLIP ANALYSIS
The costume is from a sci-fi television series called ‘Star
Wars’ which is based on the films. The dialogue is kept
short but the overall scene is quite dark, which creates a
tense atmosphere. The props in the scene were used as a
source of light. The two lightsabers in this scene could
represent both ‘good’ and ‘evil’. There isn’t much
dialogue in this scene since it is a fight between two
people, so not much dialogue is needed. The clothing for
the two people is quite basic, it’s a form of robe that’s
white for one and black for the other. There are different
camera angles in this scene to show the fight between
the two characters from different angles/from different
perspectives of other character who are also in the scene.
The overall colour in the scene is quite dark, the only
forms of bright come from the two lightsabers which are
blue and red. The music is quite dramatic which adds to
the tense atmosphere that the fight between the two
characters has created. It’s also quite dark and intense
which shows off the shows sci-fi genre along with the
props and costumes used.
