The document discusses the purpose and conventions of magazine film reviews. Magazine reviews provide synopses and professional opinions on upcoming films to help audiences decide if a film matches their tastes. Reviews typically include the film's title, release date, credits, a tagline, and sections summarizing the plot and assessing positive and negative aspects. Reviews aim to market films while presenting unbiased opinions, though different magazines may have differing views. Conventions include using large bold titles, images, star ratings, and focusing on narrative, characters, and technical elements.

7. ABOUT MY MAGAZINE REVIEW
In order to make this magazine review on the film “From
Prada to Nada”, I had to investigate the codes and
conventions of magazine reviews. Therefore now I have a
much better understanding about the elements found in
a traditional review.
Now I can easily design a magazine review for my final
film but I think I need to research the style of writing the
actual content of the text body.
Although I tried to incorporate the main elements of a
traditional review in the one I made, but I stilled missed
out on enlarged letter, film tagline, month etc so I’ll try to
improve and make sure my final film magazine review
contains all the elements.
