3. Add berries & banana
1 cup berries
½ banana
FUN TIP A frozen banana makes for
a smoother, colder consistency. Place
the other half of your banana in a
container & put it in the freezer for
next time!
4. Cut & squeeze lime
Cut your lime into fourths, then squeeze 1 wedge into the blender.
Put the remaining 3 in the fridge for next time!
FUN TIP Fresh lime is
better, healthier, and has
less sugar than using
something like limeade
5. Add yogurt & orange juice
Add ¼ cup of orange juice & ¼
cup of yogurt
FUN TIP Greek yogurt is made up
of “only natural ingredients,” has 0g
of fat & is an “excellent source of
protein.” Trop50 also has “50% less
sugar & calories than orange juice.”
Both are great, healthy choices!
7. Blend until smooth
FUN TIP Add more
water to help the smoothie
blend better. But
remember, the less liquid,
the thicker, which is what
we’re going for!
8. Pour into a bowl
Your mixture should be slightly thick, almost like frozen yogurt or ice
cream. (If it’s too runny, you added too much liquid!)
10. Enjoy!
