1. SUMMER
SMOOTHIES
“If you can think of a baked
dessert, an ice cream flavor, a
milkshake, juice, or lemonade
flavor, a coffee or tea drink, or
any little sweet nothing that you
like, you can make it into a
smoothie. And you can make it
into a reasonably or even very
good-for-you smoothie with
some thoughtful substitutions.”

2. Did you know that you can add
a handful of spinach to your
smoothie and have almost no
impact on its flavor?
If you do, you’ll be adding
calcium, iron, fiber, and a
plethora of excellent
phytonutrients to your smoothie
that weren't there before!
Conceal spinach in your
smoothie with bananas, nut
butter, or flavored protein
powder.
