INTRODUCTION
A simulation is an approximate imitation of the operation of a process or system
that represents its operation over time. Simulation is used in many contexts,
such as simulation of technology for performance tuning or optimizing, safety
engineering, testing, training, education, and video games.
WHAT IS STELLA SOFTWARE ?
STELLA (Systems Thinking for Education and Research; from isee Systems) is a
modeling software package that diagrams, charts, and uses animation help
visual learners discover relationships between variables and helps simplify
model building.

Context is about a rabbit
population whose average
speed increases under
predation pressure from a fox
population.
A predator is an organism that eats
another organism. The prey is the
organism which the predator eats.
Some examples of predator and
prey are lion and zebra, bear and
fish, and fox and rabbit.
Individuals produce more offspring than their environment
can support, and some die because of factors such as
predation, food shortage or disease. These factors are
known as environmental selection pressures and they
determine which individuals will do best at surviving and
reproducing.
