1. WIRELESS HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM
An embedded system ,in general ,incorporates hardware, operating system, low-level software binding
the OS and peripheral devices, and communication software to enable the device to perform
predefined functions.
In contrast to a desktop PC that performs a variety of tasks,a microcontroller perform a single ,well
defined task. An embedded system has a microcontroller associated peripherals, and software intended
for specific purpose.
The paper explains the monitoring of the health parameters like heartbeat ,temperature, respiratory
rate and cough .the cough is monitoring will give the status of cough, for TB patient .if any of these
parameters reaches the cutoff value ,the system will indicate i.e. ,the buzzer will can be ON and
parameters have been transmitted to remote station which can be monitored by the doctor or nurse,
since transresciver has been used in this article ,the command also can be sent to the receiver and
executed .
The communication between PC and microcontrolle1r is serial communication .we can monitor the
parameters using front and visual basic
