Front cover

3. • The first thing I did was open up the picture in Photoshop
I then used the
pen tool to
outline the face
shape
I duplicated
the layer

4. I then right
clicked and
chose make
a selection
I then copied and
pasted the shape
then delete one of
the copies
I then moved the shape to
where I wanted it and filled
in the background using the
paint bucket tool

5. I then googled PNG images of
flowers and copied and pasted
them then arranged them onto
the front cover to where I
wanted them, I repeated this
step multiple times to get each
different flower
Finally I used the text
tool to write ‘MODE’ and
‘How does social media
influence you?’

I opened up the
image in
photoshop and
then duplicated
the layer
I then selected the
quick selection tool
and outlined the part I
wanted to colour

I then went to the small circle
and chose solid colour
After choosing the
colour I wanted I right
clicked on the colour in
the layers menu and
chose blending
options, then select
colour

9. Process
After finishing the
image I inserted it into
InDesign where I
wrote the article
After choosing two pages it opened
up and I inserted the picture and
using the text I wrote the article
and then chose the different fonts

11. After creating a new document I went
to the taskbar and chose filter then
went onto filter gallery and picked the
option ‘Note Paper’

12. After opening the image in
photoshop I went onto the
taskbar and chose filter again
and went onto ‘stylize’ and
chose the find edges option.
After doing this I decided to
colour in the shirt again so I
did what I did for the last
picture but chose a different
colour

13. I then chose to put some
text in the background that
would be relevant some of
the current issues that
younger adults seem to be
interested in so I decided to
write some questions
regarding fast fashion and
the environment
