and sports competitions

Our school has participated in this competition many times,
thanks to the physics teacher Alena Pecinová
Amavet was founded on 4th January 1990 in order to develop
the scientific leisure activities of children and youth in the Czech
Republic

Otmar is school magazine, led by the third-year students
editorial staff includes students from different classes
Otmar won the competition „Magazine of the Year 2013“

6. CORNY CUP

Each year, the students of higher grammar school, participate in a nationwide
competition – „High School athletic Cup Corny“
The teams of boys and girls compete separately, each team has ten members
Our girls‘ team advanced to the national finals in Breclav this year and also the
previous year
Zdeňka Seidlová was a member of our team – she is a 16-year-old representant of
the Czech Republic
Last year, the girls‘ team was 7th and this year the 8th in the Czech Republic
boys advanced to the regional competition but didn‘t get to the higher or to the
republic finale
