PROJECT BRIEF
Based on Dubai Carbon’s
continuous success with the
UAE GHG Inventory for three
cycles, the United Nations
Environment Programme is
cooperating with Dubai Carbon
for the development of a
National Inventory System, in
the Sultanate of Oman. Dubai
Carbon is supporting Oman in
the preparation of their Second
National Communication and the
First Biennial Update Report. The
project includes the development
of an online reporting system
and data bases after conducting
a gap analysis of the current
system, supply of awareness
material and user manuals,
capacity building sessions. Dubai
Carbon will also follow up on
the progress of the system by
evaluating it and implementing
improvements.
