INTRODUCTION
Life is beautiful but not always easy, it has problems, too, and the challenge
lies in facing them with courage, letting the beauty of life act like a balm, which makes
the pain bearable, during trying times, by providing hope. Happiness, sorrow, victory,
defeat, day-night are the two sides of the me coin. Similarly, life is full of moments of
joy, pleasure, success and comfort punctuated by misery, defeat, failures and
problems. There is no human being on Earth, strong, powerful, wise or rich, who has
not experienced, struggle, suffering or failure.
Difficulties test the courage, patience, perseverance and true character of a
human being. Adversity and hardships make a person strong and ready to face the
challenges of life with equanimity. There is no doubt that there can be no gain without
pain. It is only when one toils and sweats it out that success is nourished and
sustained.
Thus, life is and should not be just a bed of roses; thorns are also a part of it
and should be accepted by us just as we accept the beautiful side of life. The thorns
remind one of how success and happiness can be evasive and thus not to feel
disappointed and disheartened rather remember that the pain of thorns is short-lived,
and the beauty of life would soon overcome the prick of thorns.
I do not dream of doing large-scale things and winning recognition or
awards. Besides finishing my studies to keep expanding the knowledge that I have to
give others; I think the most important contribution I can make is in making a difference
in someone’s life. Positive comments, showing trust in someone, and

taking an action that communicates care and respect, can positively change
someone’s view of themselves and perhaps their life, as well. What could be more
important? Teachers have both the power and opportunity to do a great amount of
good for many people. I know that I will take all the opportunities available to nurture,
encourage and bring joy to those around me.
My experience during my off-campus training made me realize that teaching
our young leaders demands time, patience, understanding, compassion, passion,
optimism and lots of efforts. Teaching is a profession that one cannot be taken for
granted, sometimes it is frustrating and exhausting, but these more taken away by just
one small smile of the children and it made me realize that living in this world is not
only about you, it must be also about the humanity. In living this world, we must not
only think the job that we have but the people who are benefited from what we were
doing.
Pre-service Teaching is full of challenges that we never thought exists. At some
point we are already being a teacher, for a certain period of time. So, we must act like
a real one, may it be physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I know that Pre-
service teaching will really turn our head into nuts but we must always be tactful, we
must always display and be good in every way we can, we will become the best version
of teachers that we could be for this generation. I know that these kinds of teachers
are very needed in our time nowadays.
7. vii
Teaching is a noblest profession because teachers must go beyond to the fullest of
having a great effort to deliver a good quality of education to educate their students.
Teaching as profession requires a great motivation and moral strength, it aims at
enlightening and contentment of mind in men broadens and illuminates the corners of
human hearts and mind. Let me say that the teaching is the profession which shows
man the road which leads him to God as the teacher touches, a mission and vision in
life to share our knowledge to our students then it’s our vocation not just a job to earn
salary but also to reap a good fruit through students who gain knowledge and discover
their own capabilities from our guidance.

“To become a teacher” My dream career I set in stone for myself was at a very

opened my mind to a new perspective of other future career choices that may suit me
better then what I thought.
