2. What most attracts you to the digipack?
Once I presented the digipack to the
participants I asked them what they found most
attractive and what caught their eye the most.
Every single one of them said that the images
used were the most attractive features to look
at on the digipack, as it also matched the
magazine advert. This creates a clear link
between all three of them, the font also used is
the same font on the magazine advert which
entitles the link to be even stronger.
3. What genre does the digipack fit under
and why?
When asked the question what genre does the digipack go under, the majority
of the participants agreed that the digipack looked like it belonged in the genre
indie pop. This was perfect because this is the genre that I was going for.
However the few people that said indie rock thought that the colours were
quite dark and could of done with some colour, but apart from that the
feedback was brilliant for this.

4. What do you like and dislike?
Liked:
• Simplicity
• Unique
• Choice of font matched
• Images used
• The disk design
Dislike:
• Can’t read disk
design
• Font on the back is
hard to read
• Image on front may
be too dark
When asked what the participants most liked about the digipack the images were a
keen part of the pack. They loved the fact that they were all a clear link (including the
magazine image). However the image on the front may have been a little to dark as
one participant pointed out. As for the disk design that was all really well presented
and was all positive feedback but the only thing that someone mentioned is that you
can only read the text at a certain angle on the screen which was frustrating. This
was the same for the back of the digipack you could see the font but it was too
squished together.
5. Is there anything you would change about
it?
• Add colour to it
• Typography on the front
(clearer)
• Font could be slightly
bigger
• Barcode shouldn’t be faded
When the participants were asked if
they would like to change anything
about it most of the mentioned the
lack of colour on the digipack and that
this could be a key element for the
audience not be drawn in.
Participants also mentioned that the
font on the back of the cover and on
the disk could all be bigger and
consume more space and this should
make it easier to read.
One other thing they all picked up
upon was that the barcode was
slightly faded and this was because if
it wasn’t it would stand out a bit to
much, so this would result in me
putting back up the opacity on the
image.
6. What improvements would you make?
Finally I asked all participants what
improvements they would all make
after reviewing my digipack. Mostly
all the comments were made about
adding more colour to make it
stand out and bring more life to it.
The mention of changing some of
the song names as well was
brought up, this would be to match
it more with the type of genre it
goes under.
Other comments were made on
the font about making it clearer
and easier to read, I could put a
black boarder round the letters and
make them bigger to captivate my
audience.
• Font clearer
• Use more colours
• Change the names of the
songs
• Text could be bigger
