Zombie Land: Analysis
Todorovs Narrative theory:
Equilibrium: Zombie Land starts with adventure and irregular activity as zombies are running
after normal humans. The films open with zombies which is setting the scene allowing the
narrative to talk about what is going on.
Disruption- The disruption comes along when the zombies are after the first Columbus and he is
using his skills to defend and get away from them. Then another human character has come
into the film and then further down 2 girls appear. The girls trick the Columbus hitches their
rides and both head east. They soon arrive at a store where more zombies occur.
Recognition- The problem is that the Zombies have took over the human race. Due to this
problem, they only have a few humans left. This means they need to fight for the survival and
kill any zombie that comes in their way. They need weapons in order to survival.
