4. What is Zombie / Definition :-
According to Oxford Dictionary, Zombie is a corpse
said to be revived by witchcraft, especially in certain
African and Caribbean religions.
Another definition of the Oxford dictionary is Zombie
means a lifeless or completely unresponsive person.
The word originates in West African.
Two version of Zombie :-
: Haitian folklore
: magic of voodoo.
: science fictional methods such as carriers, radiation,
mental diseases, vectors, pathogens, parasites,
scientific accidents, etc.

The English word "zombie" was first
recorded in 1819, in the history of Brazil by
the poet Robert Southey, in the form of
"zombi".
interpretation of the zombie is drawn
largely from George A. Romero's film Night
of the Living Dead (1968)
inspired by Richard Matheson's novel I Am
Legend (1954).

Slow moving first and later on fast.

Commission, Brooks describes the history of
'World War Z'.
The story begins in China after an unknown
creature bites a young boy. And the virus spreads
across the world.
Here, Brooks uses the war against zombies as
pre-war which reflects the modern real world.

Colson Whitehead.
2- The novel takes place in a post-apocalyptic United
States ravaged by zombies.

in Dystopian New York City, after the Earth has been
infected by a plague that transforms humans into
zombies.

out all skels.
7- Small area of Manhattan called Zone One.
