This Week’s Highlights Homework
Monday
No School – Labor Day! This space will have activities that you and your
child can do at home each day of the week that
Tuesday
We spent a majority of our day learning the routines, will give them practice with what we are
procedures, and expectations of our classroom and learning at school. Feel free to move the activities

Wednesday
We discussed germs and feelings, started math, and
reviewed the routines, procedures, and expectations.

Thursday
We talked about fire drills and practiced lining up for
one, read our Scholastic magazine titled School Rules!,
and talked about bucket filling. We also talked a little
bit about writing.
Friday
We read the story Chrysanthemum and did some
activities with our names, talked about uppercase and
lowercase letters, and read the Chicka Chicka Boom

Make sure you have returned all of the forms in
Sept. 19 – Book Orders Due
the folder you received from the office on Back to
School Night. Also, please remember to return Sept. 28 - Klackle Orchards Field Trip
the ones that were in the folder you received
from me.
Breakfast
Please make sure to have your child here by or as
close to 7:45am as you can so they will have
enough time to eat breakfast. It is over with at
8:15am. Keep in mind they have morning jobs to
complete before and after eating breakfast.
