Ms. Sinicropi, a teacher at Crossroads Charter Academy in Big Rapids, Michigan, provides an update on her classroom activities for the week of March 18, 2013. Her students will focus on phonics including the letter W and counting sounds in words. They will also begin reading units on teamwork and using their senses. In math, students will learn to measure with linking cubes. The newsletter lists volunteer opportunities in the classroom and upcoming events like a substitute teacher on March 20 and 25 and no school on March 29 for Good Friday.
