1. Project 8 – ‘Energy Wizards’
Context
Let pupils of secondary schools practice with (alternative) energy resources
students and let them produce their own energy.
Let them discover and use the power of mechanical, electrical, chemical energy to
drive small electronic devices… example: use sea water as an energy supply for a
notepad computer, charge batteries with wind energy, discover how to charge a
mobile phone with the help of a wood fire during a one-day workshop...
Join us to
design the necessary tools and content for a workshop that can be set up in
any school environment or in the open field by instructors from a school or youth
group, this excursion might start from the ‘Blokhut’ (see EPS projectproposal 7).

2. Goal? Design a challenging concept consisting of tools (hardware) and content (software)
that can be used indoors and outdoors, search for logistic solutions to move it around
(transport, packaging, supplies, waste removal…), find sponsoring or funding channels,
and use communication skills to prepare a ‘train the trainer’ manual. Design a competitive
element to stimulate groups to participate.
Where? anywhere on school premises or in nature (beach, river front, forest…), probably
starting from “the Blokhut” (EPS project 7)
Condition? None
Who? Students with a for innovation, creativity and sustainability
with a study background in
• Energy management
• Chemistry & Physics
• Product Development, prototyping
• Teaching education
• Game design
• Communication management
