- Welcome and introduction. Quick overview of the services and resources that LSS provides in The Sheppard Library. LSS provides the resources and services you’ll need as a student at MDX. More information in the handouts and on our website.
- UniHelp One-stop student helpdesk Contact by phone, online/email or in person tel. 020 8411 6060 UniHelp provides information, help and support for all aspects of student life: Finding books Finance (fees/student loans) Course related issues eg. exams and enrolment UniHelp staff will refer you to specialists if you need further support eg. Achievement Officers, Librarians, IT staff etc.
- Library provides many resources: book and journals…..print and electronic for all subjects taught by Uni Also course specific resources such as Barbour, British Standards, Lynda.com etc Online reading lists available on MyLearning, Library Subject Guide (more later) and through our website. Online resources can be accessed from anywhere
