Account Director – Kansas City
We are actively seeking ideal candidates for the role of Account Director based in the Kansas City
area to be responsible for selling complex OSS telecom software solutions at senior executive
levels to Tier I Communications Providers.
ROLE SUMMARY
Selling complex IT and telecoms software solutions at senior executive levels to Tier 1
Communications Services Providers. Ability to grow and manage executive relationships and
drive strategic value propositions is essential. This role offers a very high earning
potential for the right candidate.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create demand/sales leads for client solutions within Sprint, focusing primarily on the
IT organization.
• Qualify prospects and leads to identify relevant business opportunities.
• Creation of Sales Plans and strategies to close new business.
• Present comprehensive business solutions and negotiate terms at senior levels of the
customer’s organization.
• Liaise with other parts of the organization to prepare proposals and deliver solutions.
• Work with third party partners and system integration organizations.
• Develop a knowledge and understanding of company’s OSS product, and carry out
effective presentations of these to clients.
• Achieve the agreed sales target.
