I have worked on mainframe computers to design, code, and implement program solutions to meet
complex business needs involving data from various sources to synthesize and derive analytical reports,
data trend analyses, and regulatory reports.
Roles and Responsibilities
Configuration and IT Asset Management – worked with ITIL system to maintain accurate data, ensure
approved processes and quality assurance procedures were incorporated and all data relationships were
properly documented. Managed and cataloged on-site inventory of computer equipment and kept
detailed lists of supplies from delivery to deployment, assignment, end-of-life, return of overstocks and
proper disposal of excessed items. Filed all necessary forms for accountability and asset management.
Deskside Support – worked assignments from Service Desk Management system: troubleshooting
personal computing equipment problems involving desktops, laptops, printers and scanners; and helped
end-users with system setup. Worked on projects to refresh, image, and deploy new equipment; and
department moves involving equipment relocation. Updated SDM tickets with status information and
communicated with end-users to verify work was satisfactorily completed.
Project Lead - managed projects through all phases of the Project Development Life Cycle while meeting
deadlines, providing leadership and guidance to coworkers and outside vendors on system maintenance
and project improvements; performed code reviews, system testing, and business demonstrations.
Client Support and Training – provided training and help-desk support to in-house users and external
clients; partnered with clients and management to identify and resolve issues and validate requirements;
maintained positive and supportive relationships through excellent verbal and written communication.
Accomplishments
Asset Management Using multiple computer inventory systems and intranet search methods identified
and located all missing computers and printers for annual asset review.
Maintained Compliance Documentation and Project Development Life Cycle – filed all necessary
documents to satisfy all auditors and regulatory requirements necessary for compliance certification.
Improved data accuracy – Designed, coded and tested system enhancements. Verified that all data
elements were correct; ran daily test cycles, handled extensive coding modifications, checked accuracy of
data, and created programs to automate data verification and auditing.
Completed system conversion – organized, designed and coded complete database system
modification from Datacom to DB2 and Year2000 system upgrades.
