• INFORMATICA 9.1(ETL) was used to load and distribute data to and from Siperian
based Customer data Hub. XML were kept in a FTP server. From there Informatica
extracts the data by executing shell scripts and keep them in Informatica server
location.
• These data were then processed through various jobs and sequences and ultimately
loaded in Siperian server as landing tables. The gold copy generated by Siperian was
then processed through outbound interfaces for Publish.

Project Objective
The Consolidated Customer Master is about cleaning and integrating customer data from
various disorganized sources. Customer data that has evolved through decades with numerous
redundancies and duplications in various applications is cleansed and integrated. ETL tool IBM
Ascential DataStage is used to load clean data to Siperian MRM tool, which is configured to
remove duplications, cleanse and store it in an optimal way.

• The system Identifies common (matching) customers in different customer applications (Siebel
Sales and Marketing application) based on the match attributes. Creating a single record by
merging these common (matching) customers using match and Merge functionality of
Siperian.
• These interfaces were used for communicating add, change and delete customer request from
Siebel Sales and Marketing applications. The data in this application is sent over to the
Enterprise Data warehouse for generation of integrating reports.
• Ascential DataStage 7.5.2 (ETL) was used to load and distribute data to and from Siperian
based Customer data Hub. Flat files were kept in a FTP server. From there DataStage extracts
the data by executing shell scripts and keep them in DataStage server location.
• These data were then processed through various jobs and sequences and ultimately loaded in
Siperian server as landing tables. The gold copy generated by Siperian was then processed
through outbound interfaces to various target systems.
• The transfer was made to a staging server box via FTP (in the same manner as inbound
interface) depending upon the external systems requirement and mail notifications are sent
indicating the status of jobs ran.
