Spent 5 months in Regina between 2014 & 2015 working on the design and construction
of rental apartment buildings but my stay in Regina was short lived as the softening of oil
prices adversely affected the company workload.

I was a senior construction manager part of the main contracting team building this iconic
Vancouver Development. M y main area of responsibility was the installation of the building
curtain wall to the 52 storey tower and the finishing of the luxury private residential suites. I
reported directly to the owner and managed a team of site managers, project coordinators and
sub-contractors. I coordinated the drawings, carried out value engineering and managed the
Consultant team.I managed contracts and change orders. Chaired both Consultant & Sub-
Contractor meetings. I managed the quality control process during construction.

I was the owner’s Project Manager appointed ahead of the Consultant team, was responsible
for Consultant selection, overall project budget managing Consultant team monitoring design
work, coordinating design work with marketing and sales personnel. Responsible for value
engineering during working drawing process, carried out due diligence with Main Contractor
sourcing suitable trades, supervised tendering process and award of Sub-Contracts, assisted
with producing Construction Schedule and monitored schedule, chaired all ongoing
Consultant meetings, attended Sub-Contractor meetings. Reviewed and recommended all
change orders, approved monthly Contractor billings. Monitored quality control. Managed
deficiency rectification process. ensured the project was completed on time and on budget.

professional coaches for over 3000 kids on the North Shore.
