2. This the magazine I aim to take inspiration from. I like it because firstly
the colour style is really appealing, the colour scheme is kept very
consistent throughout the magazine and other magazines made by the
producer. I like the way the main ‘subject’ so to speak, is in the centre
of the magazine. The red on black is a powerful contrast and really
makes the red catch the audience eye. I want to take inspiration from
this because I like the layout and how simple it looks.
The main image itself is very clever, we see the guitar Ed has, is his very
own personalised one, and has a X marked on it which could symbolise
his latest album.
I like the way the writing is really clear and each section stands out
because of the large bold writing. This magazine uses both sides the
right and left thirds to display some features which are within the
magazine. I also like the way it uses many magazine features, like a
Strapline, Banner, Masthead and a house style.
