Pulp Sales – Customer Account Specialist – Aug 1990 to Dec 2013
 Management of large cotton and wood pulp customers such as Eastman Chemical Co., Crane & Co., Mead Specialty
Papers, Neenah Papers, etc., as well as small volume hand-made paper makers.
 Direct contact with customers on a daily basis via phone and email for processing orders to include extensive
knowledge of product and packaging specifications; freight costs, allowances, and add-ons; sales forecasting; inventory
analysis; production monitoring and scheduling.
 Responsible for maintaining customer shipment volume reports and processing of volume rebates/credits to include
internal and external verbal and written communications.
 Other duties included logging customer complaints, monitoring status of complaint investigation, and managing
appropriate follow-up and closure with customers.
 Responsible for monitoring accounts receivables to include execution of moderate collection efforts.
 Primary contact for internal and external ISO audits for the Specialty Cellulose Sales Division.
 Primary responsibility for administration and maintenance of TopCall, an Automated Shipment Notification System.
KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING/SKILLS
Good knowledge of SAP (order/shipping/billingsystem). Basicknowledge of Microsoft Outlook including E-Mail, Calendar
and Contacts functions, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel. Training completed through the Buckeye Talent Management
System includes Diversity Awareness, Business Ethics, Leadership Principles, Recognizing/Avoiding Burnout, and Anti-
Sexual Harassment. Also participated in DiSC Personality Assessment training and SafeStart safety training. Excellent oral
and written communication skills.
